LAM at IAPA award | Auckland Art Gallery | New Zeeland
The exhibition Cities in a Climate of Change brings together the best public art projects selected by the jury for the International Award for Public Art. The display acts as a laboratory for fresh thinking by providing evidence of diverse public art projects from around the world. Proudly hosted by New Zealand’s leading art institution, the Auckland Art GalleryToi o Tāmaki, the exhibitionCities in a Climate of Changewill offer insight into the award’s 32 semi-finalist projects.
Some of the world’s preeminent public art will be showcased in the 2015 International Award for Public Art (IAPA), which will take place in Auckland, New Zealand. The conference, Cities in a Climate of Change: Public Art and Environmental and Social Ecologies, will run from 1 - 4 July at the University of Auckland.
Artists, architects, urban planners and museum directors will come together from across the world to discuss art and its relationship to urban development. This bilingual conference will host talks in both English and Chinese.
